MHI Vestas Offshore Wind – EWEA Offshore 2015

MHI Vestas Offshore Wind is a joint venture between two of the major players on the wind power market: Vestas Wind Systems and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries.

Aiming to lead the continued development of offshore wind as a key renewable energy source on a global level, the company started in April 2014.

Just a couple of weeks short of one year later, in march 2015, it was time for the company’s first major public appearance – at EWEA Offshore 2015 in Copenhagen – the single most important international trade conference and exhibition of the year.

Byn was involved in the entire process, from strategy, ideas and concept, through executions. We formed an creative and seamless alliance with digital agency Cadpeople and stand designers Jysk Display with the ambition to make a “big splash” on the market.

The main attraction of the stand was a unique virtual reality experience. The MHI Vestas Stand at EWEA was definitely the talk of the show. For most of the time, people where waiting in line to get a chance to experience it. This immersive experience was tried by crown prince Frederik of Denmark, several ministers from European countries, CEO’s and key delegates from around the world.
